Community Notification System

The Village of Round Lake Beach is pleased to announce the launch of a new community notification system, our new village-to-resident notification system. With this service, the Village can send personalized voice messages to residents and businesses within minutes with specific information about time-sensitive or common-interest issues such as emergencies and local community matters. The system will be used to supplement our current communication plans and augment public safety/first responder services.

Please accept our invitation to participate in this great service. We know that your personal information is important; we will not share it with anyone. Frequently Asked Questions about Community Notification System

Check FraudCheck Fraud
Check fraud affects every financial institution, every business, and every individual throughout the United States and around the world. Industry sources estimate that check fraud and counterfeiting costs our nation between $10 and $14 billion per year. Some observers are calling it the growth crime of the 1990s. Identity Theft Identity Theft - America's fastest-growing crime.
Last year alone, more than 9.9 million Americans were victims of identity theft, a crime that cost them roughly $5 billion.

The number of ID theft victims and their total losses are probably much higher. It's hard to pin down, because law enforcement agencies may classify ID theft differently--it can involve credit card fraud, Internet fraud, or mail theft, among other crimes.
